NovaCalc Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Dr. Quiz Learning Center ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use NovaCalc ("the app"), our Android calculator application published on Google Play (package: dev.drowl.calculator). We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with Google Play policies and applicable data protection laws.

1. Information We Collect

NovaCalc does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information directly. The calculator runs entirely on your device. Your calculations and history are kept in memory on your phone and are not sent to our servers. We do not require an account, and we do not access your contacts, photos, location, or other personal files.

2. Third-Party Advertising (Google AdMob)

NovaCalc displays advertisements through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC. Ad formats may include banner ads. AdMob may automatically collect certain information to serve and measure ads, which may include:

• Device identifiers (such as Advertising ID)
• IP address
• Device type, operating system version, and language
• Ad interaction and impression data

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and the AdMob & Firebase Privacy Policy.

You can opt out of personalized advertising on Android by going to Settings → Google → Ads and enabling "Opt out of Ads Personalization," or by resetting your Advertising ID.

3. Permissions

NovaCalc requests only the permissions necessary for the app and the AdMob SDK to function. The app does not request access to the camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, or location. No dangerous permissions are required for core calculator features.

4. Children's Privacy

NovaCalc is a general-purpose calculator and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our app, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

5. Data Retention

Calculation history exists only in your device's RAM while the app is running and is cleared when you close the app or tap "Clear" in the history panel. We do not retain any user data on external servers.

6. Data Security

Because NovaCalc processes calculations locally on your device, your math data never leaves your phone except through standard AdMob advertising channels described above. We encourage you to keep your device software up to date.

7. International Users

NovaCalc is available worldwide. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other regions with data protection laws, Google's processing of advertising data through AdMob is governed by Google's compliance programs and your device-level ad settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of NovaCalc after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
