Habit Streak Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how DrOwlDev ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use Habit Streak ("the app"), our offline habit-tracking application published on Google Play. We are committed to transparency and compliance with Google Play policies and applicable privacy laws including the GDPR and CCPA where they apply.
1. Information We Collect
Habit Streak does not collect, transmit, or store personal information on our servers. The app works entirely offline. Habit names, schedules, completion history, and statistics you create are saved only on your device using local storage (Hive). We do not require an account, email address, phone number, or any sign-in.
2. No Advertising or Analytics
Habit Streak contains no third-party advertising and no analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs. We do not use Firebase Analytics, Google AdMob, Facebook SDK, or similar services. Your habit data is not profiled, sold, or shared with advertisers or data brokers.
3. Permissions
The app requests no dangerous permissions. Habit Streak does not access your camera,
microphone, contacts, location, SMS, or call logs. The release build does not require the
INTERNET permission for core functionality.
4. Data Storage and Deletion
All data remains in the app's private storage on your device. You can delete individual habits (and their history) inside the app, or remove all app data by uninstalling Habit Streak or clearing app storage in Android Settings. Uninstalling permanently deletes local habit data from your device.
5. Children's Privacy
Habit Streak is a general-audience productivity app and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no data is collected or transmitted, the app is suitable for users of all ages who can use a habit tracker responsibly.

For Google Play Data safety disclosure:

- Data deletion: Uninstall the app or clear app storage

7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
