Overview
SnapQR — QR & Barcode Scanner ("the App") is published by Dr. Quiz Learning Center. The App scans and generates QR codes and barcodes on your Android device. Scan processing is designed to occur on your device whenever possible.
Information We Collect
- Camera: Used only to scan QR codes and barcodes. Camera frames are processed on-device and are not uploaded to our servers.
- Scan history: Saved locally on your device. You can delete history at any time from the History or Settings screens.
- Advertising data: The App displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (including the advertising ID), IP address, and usage data to serve and measure ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.
How We Use Information
Locally stored scan history is used only to display your past scans inside the App. We do not sell personal information. AdMob processes data according to Google's advertising policies.
Data Sharing
We do not upload your scan content to our servers. Third-party sharing is limited to Google AdMob for advertising and related analytics configured in the App.
Data Retention and Deletion
Scan history remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the App. Use Settings > Clear scan history to remove saved scans. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
Because scan data is stored locally, protect your device with a screen lock. Be cautious when opening links from unknown QR codes.
Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. For AdMob-related data, reset your advertising ID in Android settings and manage ad personalization in your Google account settings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page and in the Google Play Store listing.
